You know your hair is obnoxiously curly when out of the corner of your eye you think there's a customer walking around your store and it turns out to just be a big, honkin' curl.

True story.

I freaked out for a brief second because I didn't remember there being customers in the store at that moment.

Yah yah. lay off the espresso. I know. :)

On a quick side note:

I just watched a woman try to parallel park a VW hatchback somethingorother about 25 times. Small car, BIG space.

It was comical.

Looked like that scene from the first Austin Powers with the maintenence cart in the little hallway. Yah. You know the scene. :)

Are you kidding me? They bumped the start date for Drawing Bootcamp from Monday the 30th to THIS Friday?

That's not fair!

I'm going out of town on Thursday! The only reason I even booked this trip to see my family is BECAUSE class didn't start until Monday!

I can't change my ticket. And I can't miss class.

What the hell am I supposed to do now?!

I guess I have to miss class.

Damn.

So effective August of 2008 they're raising the cost of parking permits from $25 a month to $40 a month.

Are you serious?

Because the $72,000 (recently raised to $18,000 every 8 mos ) tuition isn't enough.

We also have to pay for parking.

And now they're raising it.

At least you only have to have a permit for the hours of 6am - 6pm. Here's to hoping I have a lot of night classes ;)

Good thing I bought my parking permits up until December at the $25 price so I don't have to worry about parking until Jan.

Good times.

That means a year of parking will be $480 instead of $300 and before they were doing a special where if you bought a year's worth it was only $250.

So I guess we'll see if they offer anything like that again.

Bastards.

I have 3, yes THREE!, outside projects that I've been asked to work on.

OH MY GOD!!

1. My friend Nick is a rapper. He has a contract with a record company. He's moving to NY next month and needs a logo and some graphic for his album campaign. Asked if I would do it.

2. My friend Paul is going to a Muscle Car show next month and wants me to design a t-shirt logo for shirts he's going to sell. It was an idea that spawned off of us having japanese food last night and discussing the whole asian import v. american muscle.

So he came up with this phrase, " I don't drive rice, I eat it. And so does my car... "

And I'm going to make the graphic to go with it and badda-bing! A shirt!

3. Tonight I went and was an extra in a friend of mine, Chris', indie film. He's one of the film maker's that was part of M.U.F.F. and I've talked to him for a while. Also, Oliver, another film maker that often works with Chris was there too.

Chris wants me to design some motion graphics for the movie I was an extra in!

Oh my god!!

I'm soo fucking stoked right now!
