Hey. I wanna go to LA the weekend of the 23rd to see a band I really like called Left of Zed.

The lead singer is John Cho. He was the asian guy in the american pie series and was Harold in Harold and Kumar go to white castle.

Anyone wanna come with? The show is 21 and up and is at the Gig in L.A.

I got a little mini job.

Nothing much.

Just doing personal assistant duties for a lady in Berkeley. She has cancer and is going through chemo. ( did I spell that right? )

She makes jewelry and needs someone to organize and do light housework and help run errands for her.

So I applied and got the job :)

Makes 12 an hour for approx 10 hours a week. Which I can handle and it'll give me some extra money which is good. :)

So I start monday. Woohoo!

There is at least one person on our livejournal lists that we want to have sex with. So lets play the "Gettin' laid " game. Tonight I'm going to the punchline in SF to see the Kims of Comedy.

It's 3 korean comedians. One of which is Bobby Lee!!

For those of you who don't know, Bobby Lee is on Mad TV and was in Harold and Kumar go to White Castle as Kenneth Park Class of 2005. Ya, the guy who kept raising his hand :)

The show starts at 9pm but we're gonna get there about 6:30 - 7pm. So we can get a good seat.

The ticket is like 12.00 I believe and there may be a 4.35 convenience fee.

Proof I haven't been home around 11am on a weds. in a long time.

I forgot that they test the alarm over at the refinery every weds. at 11am.

And then the guy from tom goes to the mayer is on a phone and he's like

And then they do some more stuff and the chinese guy is like

Soooooooo funny.

You know what else is funny? When I run throug my apartments, my cats just totally get all riled up and start running around the house like crazy :)

So yes. My weekend was long but fun :)

Hung out with Loren.

Went to Sonic. Ate as much fast food there as I could possibly stomach just because I knew how far it was and how I wouldn't be coming back any time soon.

Never eating fast food again. Bleh :)

Had a mini-bbq with not a lot of people but a HELL OF A LOT of food. Good lord. My fridge is packed.

Watched my city's fireworks display and then watched the pops on the t.v. when we got home.

Bought a girl betta to go with Loren's boy betta. Her name is Francine. So it's now Gil and Francine. They have a divider in their tank so they can't try and kill eachother while in the process of making babies :)

Besides. We can't have babies right now. Too much work.

Finally got my half of the rent for last month all tallied up thanks to the help of friends and selling stuff.

Today I'm gonna run some errands. Do some laundry and go to class.

Woo.

Not much else goin on. All signed up for classes for Fall Semester. Wooo 15 units. :) 2 classes out of the 5 are fluff so I won't be fried mentally.

Oh, and if anyone's wondering about the event on the 4th ( those of you who know what I'm talking about ). It's now official. He said yes.

So it's come down to the last grain of stability.

My home.

My unemployment check is 3 weeks late due to a mixup. And now. When my check was supposed to arrive on Saturday, I got a letter saying I have a phone interview scheduled. Which means I have to wait another 2 days for the interview and probably another week for my check. If I get one.

That money was supposed to be for my rent.

I haven't paid my half of the rent for the month of June yet.

So now I'm at the point of extreme measures.

I've got 43 auctions running on ebay. All gaming books. But that won't help becuase they don't end for another 7 days and I still have to wait for people to pay me.

So I'm doing a few things that are more immediate because I need to come up with rent in the next ( hopefully ) 24-48 hours.

1. I'm going to plea, beg, and grovel for donations from people.

2. I'm asking if ANYONE has ANY odd jobs ( cleaning, gardening, pet sitting, dog walking, etc ) that I can do in the next day or so for extra money. Have car, will travel. ( within reason )

3. I'm selling as much furniture as I can on craigslist.com

I have a dining room set, large wooden desk, coffee table, large chair with ottoman, wooden file cabinet, bamboo mini-trunk, picture frames, accent lamps, etc. ( I will be taking pics and measurements in the next hour )

I'll link the post once it's finished.

So please please PLEASE help if you can. I'm really at my last options and need assistance. I really don't like asking for help unless it's an emergency.

Well. Something I'd been dreading is finally over. And I finally have peace.

Allen came and got his stuff and we talked. And I got my closure.

It feels really good to just be free of stressing over him. And constantly thinking about the past. And it was nice to finally just sit down and let it all out through talking and crying.

So yes.

And a very appropriate Gwen Stefani song just came on so I'm going to post the lyrics here because they sum up how I feel :)

I have class in half an hour and I'm spending the next couple of nights with Loren.

Now if I can just figure out how to pay my rent. All will be ok.

Also, I WILL be at SF Pride this weekend if anyone is going to be there. I'll be working a booth on Sunday making mixed drinks for about an hour. So I'll post more details as I have them. I may go Saturday too. Not sure though.

Prolly gonna camp out at Loren's and just be gay all weekend :)
