All that's left at this point is to take what I want out of the living room and kitchen, put the stuff out on the corner I'm giving away, and clean.
And then it's off to my new home.

I'm getting cable and internet installed on tuesday morning so it won't be too long before I'm back annoying everyone.

Mental note, never try to move the night after RHPS. RHPS = Hella no sleep. And hella no sleep = hella no focus on the tasks at hand.
Plus, it really didn't help that the dipshit at U-Haul was a fucking waste of human flesh.
Whatever. I'm so complaining to the corporate office.
So Michael is sleeping and I'm letting him do so because I know that if he sleeps, he'll be all pumped and recharged so we can kick ass on finishing up my move.
It's still him and me though. Loren is talking about coming by later to help out. Yay :)
So while I wait for him to wake up.. let me amuse you with ( this Meme )

Got the u-haul all paid for and ready to be picked up tomorrow.
Loren is my hero. He's helped me get a buttload of work done today and we still have more.
We've been going almost non-stop since 1pm today. That's a good 5 or so hours thusfar, plus we're working til about 8pm.
Then it's off to my new place to drop off payment, get keys, and sign stuff.
Woo.
Mike is helping me with loading/unloading tomorrow but it would have been nice to have another body helping today. Would have made things go faster. But I'm grateful for all the help I can get.
If anyone is able to help with Loading/unloading tomorrow, I'd really appreciate it.

This wednesday at Bondage A Go-Go, The Barely Legal Cast ( Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Parkway in Oakland ) will be performing a bunch of songs.
I think it's gonna start around 10 or so but I'm not totally positive on that.
I'll post when I know specifics.
I'll be there and I hope that some of you guys can make it too :)

YAY!! My stupid fucking roommates are finally moved out!!!
Today they cleaned... if you wanna call it that. And they took my sofa.
They didn't touch the f'n bathroom. They only cleaned the kitchen counters. And basically took their stuff out of the living room. That's cleaning to them I guess.
I said they could have the sofa.
But they never actually said they were going to take it. So that was quite a surprise.
Oh well. Whatever. They're gone.

The next time you feel you have gotten bad customer service. For a moment, think about if it is really worth complaining to that person's manager over.
Because in all truths, that one complaint could be the one that gets that person fired.

So my ever so responsible non life experience having can't act like an adult to save her life roommate has decided that her and her lump idiot of a boyfriend are IN FACT now moving out.
Originally they decided they were going to move out. Minus a 30-day notice.
Then I bitched and told them that's not how its done, people.
So I got some sort of weird 30-day notice thing on myspace. Uhm. Ok?
Then they paid rent in full on the 1st. My roommate told me that they weren't going to move out and that she couldn't stand him and they were most likely going to break up.
So with that mentality I thought I had some time to find a place and tie up my loose ends from living in the same place for 2+ years.
Oh. Guess not.
They have found a place. Worked things out amongst themselves. And have announced they will be out on the 1st.
Uhm. WHAT?!
Great. What the hell am I supposed to do? I now have to come up with FULL rent for Sept. Pay what I owe in back rent ( roughly a month worth of rent ). Secure a place to live and have enough money to pay first month rent there as well as cover moving expenses.
Fabulous. Just what I needed.
So uhm. IS ANYONE OUT THERE LOOKING FOR A ROOMMATE IN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO?!
I can afford 500-600 a month rent incl. utilities.
I have a car so I would need parking.
I have 2 cats and a rabbit so pets would have to be ok.
If anyone knows of anyone looking or if this fits your description of a place you're offering please please please let me know! :)
