Hi there! :)
I survived Christmas! :) YAY :)
It actually went pretty smoothly.
I woke up and got ready. It was then off to the Oakland Airport to drive around in circles for about 20 mins til my cousin, Paul, appeared. :)
I drove him to Walnut Creek where we met up with the rest of my family to caravan over to Napa.
In Napa we did dinner and then I got a call that I needed to start getting ready to head over to Pacifica to spend time with my uncle and grandma. So my McCarthy family sped up the festivies and we did a quick bout of presents :)
After that, I headed over to Pacifica and had a second dinner and a smaller bout of presents with my grandma and uncle. It was great seeing my grandma again :)
After that, I went home and played some video games before going to bed.
The day after Christmas I hung out with Angelica ( her gf's outta town with family ) and we ate and watched Zodiac. :) Good movie. : )
I went to my second interview at Starbucks and got the job! :) I start in a week or so. YAYYYYY :)
Then I went back to Pacifica and picked up my grandma to drag her to the mall to use my Torrid giftcards on their after Christmas sale. Yay new pants and a new hoodie! :)
My grandma also bought me a pair of Spanx. Yah. Um. I'm still getting used to the idea of those.
When we were done I dropped her off and headed back to Alameda to have dinner at Angelica's restaurant.
Then it was home, video games, and sleep :)
Today I worked for a couple of hours and talked to my manager about leaving in a couple of weeks to work at Starbucks. She said she wants to keep me on payroll so that I can help out as a backup if needbe. I said that was fine.
After that, I went home and showered. And now I'm at school working on homework :) Yay :)
I'm hanging out with a classmate tomorrow. Work Saturday and a party Saturday night. :)

Jeremy gave me money to buy clothes for Christmas so with that I bought:
A new pair of black pants
A new hello kitty purse and wallet
A new pair of slip on shoes with little gummy bears on them.
My aunt sent me some money so I used that to go back and buy more clothes:
A new shirt
A pair of Earrings
A watch
A headband
And a new necklace
Angelica and Casey(gf)gave me a coffee set from Starbucks that has:
A travel mug
Coffee
Biscottis
Cocoa
A cookie
My friend/Co-worker Jen gave me:
A Torrid gift card
A new Skelanimals wallet from Torrid :) It's sexy
My friend/manager Joy gave me:
A christmas cookie
A rose
The owner of my store gave me:
A $10 giftcard to Starbucks
A $75 giftcard to the store I work at which I used to buy an Emily the Strange bag that I used to replace my backpack for school. I'm using the rest of the card for christmas presents for my family.
I also rec'd 2 free drink coupons from the manager at the Peet's Coffee across the street from our store. :)
My McCarthy family gave me:
A new coach wallet (yes that would make new wallet number 3! :) haha :) )
2 new books
A new cute, brown tote bag that has owls on it. I can use it also for school when I convert my Emily bag to my laptop bag when I get my new laptop hopefully in the next few months or so.
A tank of gas :)
And a little Sailor Mercury figurine that was in the tote. :) haha :)
My grandma and uncle gave me:
A torrid giftcard
Bath/body stuff from Origins
And a new fleece jacket
Also, my grandma gave me a bag of old stuff of mine she'd been hanging on to like my Diploma and various other things from HS and Junior High. So that was nice.
All in all, it was a nice holiday :) I feel loved :)
