PS, I saw a listing today on CL, asking for people to stop by the shelter and donate fresh greens for the bunnies. Soooo tempting! Although, today in particular, I think I'm going to ask to sneak off work early so I can turn on the A/C at home and keep an eye on the animals...
I know about the bunnies thing, that's actually for Oakland Animal Services which is the OTHER shelter in Oakland :) We get confused with them all the time.
They got a big dump of bunnies all at once and they're trying to find homes for them ASAP.
One of our volunteers adopted one :)
Good idea about the a/c :) It's hotter than heck lately :)
