Which is EXACTLY what I'm doing.

So work continues at a steady pace. We're a little understaffed because a couple of people have just left us. So yes. If anyone is interested.. THE OAKLAND SPCA IS HIRING!! :)

In other news... I recently got a bunny :) His name is Lopzilla. He's a black lop-eared bunny :) YAY :)

My life is pretty boring. I spend my days off doing laundry, hanging with my roommate, procrastinating on my responsibilities, etc.

My love life is non-existant. But whatever, people are drama.

I'm SUPPOSED to go to the A's/Yankees game tonight but the rain is being bitchy and threatening to cancel my fun.

So there's a good chance I'll start my Taiko classes tonight instead.

In conclusion.

I exist.

All you need to do is go to our website.

and click on " about us " which is on the left and then click on jobs.

Also there are postings in craigslist. So just type in SPCA in the job search area.

I don't really have any phone numbers because we take all of our applications by e-mail or in-person.

So if your roommate is unable to apply online she can come in to the facility and fill out an application/drop off her resume.

We're open weds-sun.

The types of jobs that we're hiring for is

Customer Care Associate ( my job... basic customer service, handles adoptions,etc. )

Canine Associate ( dog trainer )

Kennel Attendant ( cleans kennels, feeds the animals, etc. )

And a part-time accounting job in Admin.
