So Loren, being the humanitarian that he is, decided to e-mail my now former boss about the act that she made someone else do yesterday on her behalf.

My being let go.

Jessica is a good person, but she didn't fit. I won't discuss

is my company. I can't afford to keep someone just because I
like them.

That is like being told you have cancer on Christmas, kinda deflates the

Ok.. Now. Is she serious?! Giving me a chance to seek something? Who the FUCK is hiring right now? I mean honestly? Who is going to hire someone the last 2 weeks of the year?! ARE YOU HIGH!? And yes, I would have MUCH rather been let go AFTER the holidays so that I wouldn't spend my fucking Christmas AND New Year's being fucking depressed about not having a job and instead focusing on being with my friends and family.

What a goddamn bitch.

I was so depressed last night I went out and bought a bottle of fairly expensive ( for me ) wine. I ended up only drinking a glass of it but my intentions were to get sloshed so I wouldn't have to think anymore.

I HATE THIS.

Well, if it's any type of excuse, they know each other.

They used to work together at Alliance. And he said in the e-mail that he's not doing it on my behalf. He was doing it to point out her behavior to her as one human to another saying that what they did was fucked up.

At least we're both sailing in the same ship...and you're right. Who the hell is hiring right now? There ought to be a law that states that unless someone is involved is gross breach of company policy (such as being caught stealing) no one gets fired between Thanksgiving and New Years.
