" Honey, I have a present for you! I made you your own L5R deck and I got you a deckbox! "

Me: Oh yah?

Him: " Yah, I'm tired of not having anyone to play with so I made you a deck and I'm gonna teach you how to play... "

I remember L5R coming out back in the days when I was still playing M:tG (many years ago, back when I was in high school)

it looked interesting enough, but I was already spending too much money on the 2 CCGs I was playing (magic and a Highlander CCG), so I couldn't get into another one.

L5R is a collectable card game. It's kind of like a kung-fu version of Magic The Gathering or something along those lines. Think Dungeons and Dragons but with ninjas.

i had a bf who dumped me for D&D. i've got something of a grudge against RPG's, hon.

nevertheless, i'm glad they're enjoyed by some subspecies of humans. this subspecie is just a blogaholic. :-D
