Has anyone out there in LJ land received a stafford loan before?

I just filled out an application for one and signed a Master Promissory Note.

What happens now? Do I just magically get a check in the mail?

Do I have to wait until I'm approved?

I'm a confused little monkey.

once you sign your MPN, that's it. You get a check in the mail in like 3-4 weeks or something. Sometimes it's earlier, sometimes it's later.
