So I lost my hearing that I went to for EDD and appearantly this was the decision:

The determination and ruling are reversed. Benefits are denied the claimant until she has earned five times her weekly benefit amount in bona fide employment. The employer's reserve account is not subject to benefit charges.

WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN??!!?

Like seriously.

I got 2 unemployment checks at 374 dollars a piece.

And when I got laid off the last time I'm getting like 3 checks. Does that mean I have to earn 1500 or something dollars to pay it back or what? Fuck I'm confused.

HELP!

When you are getting paid, the company that you are working for puts aside 1/5 or something like that into a special account to be used for unemployment. You are not able to pull money out that is not there so if your account has been emptied, you will not longer get any checks. The longer you work for the company, the long you can collect unemployment.
