Weekend stuffage.

On a quick break from class.

Saturday I had class which wasn't bad. Was tired from working at 7am. But ah well. :)

We got a fair bit of editing done which was awesome.

I went home and just lazed around. Feeling pretty down and unhappy about not having anything to do.

Sunday I worked 10-3 and afterwards ended up going to FurCon.

It was... overwhelming to say the least.

I have a lot of thoughts about it, especially since it was my first ever dealings with fursuiters and the like.

So once I wrap my thoughts up, I'll probably post about it.

All in all I was pretty impressed with the craftmanship of the suits.

I danced my ass off at the dance and got told that I was hot by a group of people in a hotel room... half of which I didn't even know. That was a pleasant surprise.

Alright. The break is ending so I gotta run back.

But I'll post more later.

I'm done with class at 3pm today and then I'm supposed to go to a movie. But other than.. my day is pretty free.

Stuffage...

Movie got cancelled so now I really have nothing to do til about 9am tomorrow. Ug. :(

I'm doing my default activity of listening to Irish music on Pandora and hanging out at the lab searching the internet.

Boredom is me. Word.

I guess I could write about how I felt about FurCon.

When I get into anything I've never experienced, as with most people, I take on a very shy and introverted position. I don't talk much. I ask a ton of questions. I ask a ton more of the same questions to different people to see if the answers vary much.

After work yesterday, I went home and changed. I made an effort on my appearance. Make-up, hair, clothing, etc. you get the idea. I decided to wear a skirt, slip on shoes, a tank top under my sweater, and a sweater. I didn't think I'd be wearing the tanktop alone so I wore a bra where the straps were visable and didn't really match the shirt. I even wore my spanx too!

I also hung out with my roommates yesterday and talked to them while they ate the goodies I brought home from work. ( doughnuts, croissants, bearclaw, etc. )

After helping my roommate with her hair, I headed down to San Jose.

I also stopped by work and grabbed something ultra sugary and stuffed full of espresso to keep me up. ( I wasn't sleepy but I knew I would be... and it was free so yah. : ))

Dave got worried because I was taking a long time to get down to Con so he called. I knew parking at the Doubletree is hell and expensive so I asked him if I could just leave my car at his place ( he lives about 15 mins from the hotel ) and then just get a ride back later. That worked out fine.

I finally got to the Con... took a deep breath.. ( and walked inside. )

Here's my schedule for the rest of the week if anyone wants to hang out.

Monday(Today): Class 12-3. Free after
Tuesday: Class 9-4. Free after
Wednesday: Work 9:30 - 3:30. Free after
Thursday: Class 9 - 4. Free until 6. School Event that I'm hosting until 11 or so.
Friday: Work 4:15am - 8:30am. Class 9am - Noon. Free after.
Saturday: Work 10:45am - 3:15pm. Free after.
Sunday: Work 10am - 6pm. Free after.

There you have it.

Never a dull moment...

I was sitting at the lab and a friend of mine in the Sound Arts program, Robert, came and grabbed me to help him out with something.

He needed my voice.

I asked if he was Ursula and that I was going to meet my prince.

I got an eye roll. :)

No princes. But what I did do was just as cool.

I go to go into an Audio Post Production Studio and do voice over for a T- Mobile commercial.
(Mind you, I was just doing voice over for a project. It's a commercial that already exists and the students just redo the voices. It's not something that's going to be on t.v. or anything. :) ) I had 2 lines.

Good times. :)

Just a thought. But if no plans formulate for tonight.. would anyone want to go to the Starry Plough and check out some Irish Music/Dance?

I don't even know for sure if I'm going.. just sort of throwing it out there.

I'm pretty sure the music n stuff starts at 9pm.
