Little Tidbits....
Jul. 18th, 2005 11:22 amDHP was a blast :) Thanks to all the hosts for putting on a fabulous event, like always :)
Poor Loren was passed out on the lawn in the backyard almost the entire time... him no feel well.
But *I* enjoyed myself and he felt better once he woke up :)
I finally received my HBP book. Well ok, I got it on Saturday but because I'd left to pick LoLo up, I missed the mailman and had to go to the Post Office today and rescue it. I could hear it screaming for me from the back :)
I've decided to put off reading it until end of this month/beginning of August.
I know, I know. All of LJ just had heart palpitations.
Relax, I have a plan.
See, I read the last two books rather quickly and didn't quite absorb them as well as I would have liked. So, I'm going to wait until I have time ( when this semester is over ) and use the break in between semesters to re-read the other two books and then finally read my new one. I want to at least know what people are talking about in the story without having to go back to the others periodically for reference.
Also, I've come up with a back-up plan should I not receive and financial help for school. Or at least enough to live on.
My roommate is moving out I'm assuming in August. I have to ask him for exact info. But if I don't get any word on financial aid by the beginning of August, I'm going to start looking for a cheap place to live. Yes, I have to move, again. Woo.
I'm not giving up my cats again so I'm gonna have to bust my ass to find a good place where my kitties feel at home. Probably in the 300 a month range.
Sigh. Not happy about it but I do what I gotta do.
Today, I've decided that if I finish all the things I need to do, I'm going to treat myself to a matinee showing of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory before school.
So I better get goin.
Things I need to do:
Mail all the books that I sold on Ebay ( can do this on my way to concord )
Do my homework ( shouldn't take long )
Eat a good, healthy meal.
Do the dishes.
Shower.
Get my laundry together.
Alright!
