General Update/ Keroppi Watch...

So things are not bad in my world. They're not totally good but at least I'm getting by.

Did my first 12 hour shift on tuesday night. Slept for 5 hours of it. Do'h! :) The techs were really cool about it though and basically told me they understood because it was my first time. I work in Los Gatos tomorrow. ( Jesus. Talk about a commute. )

I actually got a paycheck which was a pleasant surprise! :) Woo... My meager earnings. All of like 250 bucks for 30 hours of work. Woo.

But it's better than nothing and more than I had. So no complaining here.

Things with Lo Lo are good. ( That's an actual nickname his friends gave him like 5 years ago so I'm not making fun of him, Mike!!! hehehe :) just kiddin. It means crazy in Hawaiian) We're spending like every night ( except the ones I work ) this week together. Which is nice. He called me at like 6:15 am on weds while I was at work because either I forgot to mention it or he forgot I told him that I was working the entire shift.

< phone buzzes >

Me: Hello?

Him: WHERE ARE YOU?!?!!?!?

Me: Uhm... at work?

Him: Oh. Wait. You worked the whole shift?

Me: Yah...

Him: Oh my god! I was so scared! I woke up and you weren't next to me and and :: big sigh, sniffle sniffle ::

Me: Awwww hunny! I'm soooo sorry :( Yah...I'm working the whole shift... fell asleep for a little while though :)

Him: Ok. I miss you. Come home soon.

Me: Ok :) Miss you too. Seeya.

Now THAT. Made my morning :)

Sooo yes. I'm ITCHING to go on a road trip soon. Either like L.A. or fly to Vegas or something. I just need to go on a trip. I know that several other people in my immediate circle are wanting to do the same. I think the feeling is mutual as to doing it when we all get a good hearty paycheck :)

Also, spent a LOVELY day on Tuesday with Alex and Johanna. Had a freakin blast! :) It was a nice change of pace from sitting at home trying to sleep and play on the computer. I was seriously lacking human contact :) They also got to see my kitties and absolutly loved Spooky :) Cuz she's a coy little attention whore that's why :)

Keroppi seems to be doing quite well and either I'm imagining it cuz I'm neurotic or he's actually feeling a little bulkier around his ribs. So that's a good sign. Lo Lo felt it too so I think that he's getting healthier slowly but surely.

It took me a while to do fluids last night because he wasn't ready to lie down yet. So I just acted like I was going to bed and then stuck him when he layed down :) Simple as always :) He almost fell asleep during it too.

It's funny cuz afterwards there's this large squishy mass in his neck from the fluids. And it feels like a boob.

Hehehhehehehe :)

Anywho.

Not much else going on. I wanna go to a museum soon. Maybe this weekend.

Oooo and Johanna's birthday is coming up!! YAYYYYYY :) More SF fun to be had there.

And the Moulin Rouge party is quickly approaching which I'm ecstatic about!

A little insight...

When I get angry. I close down. I don't want to talk. I don't want to deal.

I just want to be alone to get over whatever stupid little thing is I'm angry about and then I'll be fine.

I just got pissed off at Loren.

And instead of staying and fighting with him.

I said: " You know what. Maybe it'd be better if I just went home. "

And left.

For the first time ever. He didn't stop me.

Which is fine.

I think we were spending too much time together anyway and this would possibly keep us from getting into a larger fight.

So now, I'm home and bored. And I can't go to sleep for a long while.
