See. I don't dabble in the political stuff often because well frankly. All of it pisses me off. I mean jesus.. do the presidential canidates even say what they're going to DO to help the country or are they just too busy boosting their own self-images?

I've been a fan of margaret cho for a long time. I like what she does and I like what she fights for.

But when people twist words for their own benefit and then let their ignorance show trying to retaliate... that annoys me.

If you're going to make fun of an Asian person at least know what ethnicity asian they are. NOT ALL ASIANS ARE CHINESE FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!

I swear..

I'm still leaving the country if Bush is re-elected.

Wanna know what I'm talking about?

So yah. I'm not really pissed about it because well.... people are proving how stupid they really are by saying the things that they're saying. And the lady who put this on her site made a good point that the only retaliation they have is to make fun of her looks ( weight, ethnicity, etc. ) and the fact that she's lgbt friendly. Wow. That's mature.

Anyway... if you have a few moments.. take a gander.

I agree. I hate the electoral college. Even when it works for me like it does in Ca.

At the very least--the very least--I'd like to see the percentage of votes from a state given out according to the percentages of votes each candidate got *IN* that state. But mostly I just hate the whole electoral college system.

Primitive system

Especially for large states like California where the voting is split so radically between the "rural" counties and the "urban" areas. When you convert the cities you get all the votes regardless. I would like to see the vote at least brought down to the county level. If not a straight percentage based on popular vote per state, which in effect would be a straight up popular vote. I could see the need for "representive" voters when travel across country took weeks, but that hardly is the situation these days.
