Quick fashion question...

I'm going to be buying this dress:

http://www.buriedaliveco.net/items/dresses/blackribbondress/blackribbondress.html

from buried alive clothing ( the site rocks by the way! )

and I wanted to know if the dress would look ok with a white collared blouse underneath it.

Any help would be appreciated! :)

I'm telling you, this is not the dress for you - the ruffly white fringe is not going to look right...

personally, I think you should wear a open blouse or light jaket kind of thing over the dress to create a line....

ryan the whole point of ruffles is part of the look! It's gothic lolita.. it's to look like a victorian porcelean doll...
if it didn't have the ruffles it would just look gothy or swing even...

I don't like the blouse idea, under or over. I think the dress is cute, but is there another one with ruffles that isn't white? I dunno... that dress just looks like a maternity gown to me ;) No offense to you... just not my style.

No there isn't another one. That is the dress.

THESE ruffles don't look right to me - it breaks it up too much and are too thick...but I am not the expert.
