:: grumble::

Aren't fridays supposed to be full of love and happiness? Oh wait.. guess not.

So I'm driving to work this morning... slightly late... had to get that extra 15 mins of sleep.

I'm driving on highway 4 and like this dumbass in front of me thinks it's his job to play vigalante speed controller and matches the guys car next to him so I can't get by. I'm fuming at this point. I was ready to just slam on the gas and drive in the service lane. I HATE people like that.

don't fuck with me when I'm driving. I am NOT a morning person. You are not cute for playing stupid games with me. I am in control of a 1,000 pound piece of machinery and you want to fuck with me at 7:15am?! Don't. Think. So.

It's too early to be pissed off... Just.. breathe..

So tonight I'm gonna go to the club for a while. I don't know if I'm gonna stay the whole time. I'm soooo tired. I'm also going to do my taxes today. If it's enough ( looking like it's gonna be about 1700.00) I'll just to hr block so I can get my money today. I NEED A DAMN CELL PHONE!

Tomorrow I move my stuff from storage ( well.. some of it )

And sunday is the car show :)

woot..

goooood times.

You're just filing, what, 3 W2s?

Don't bother with HR Block, check out TurboTax online - although I think you might need a checking acct to use their online filing service... anyways, check it out at turbotax.com. They'll only charge you something like $35 or $40 total (unlike the $50 - $70 at HR Block, AND they charge you a fee for ever W2 past the first one) and the online interface is muy simple.

Y'know, you really need to get a bank acct, cutie - you can get your refund direct-deposited within ten days of filing. ;)

Blahh I know.. but I can't get the bank account until I get the damn refund :) hehe...

So I gotta see.

I have 4 W-2's... And the benefit with hr block is that I can get it... TODAY. So we'll see how I Feel after work :)

[identity profile] britgeekgrrl.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 09:07 am (UTC)(link)
HR Block will take $50 of that refund to give it to you right away, you know. But, if that's a viable trade off then yeah, go for it.

Take your student ID with you to the bank (or a receipt for this semester's classes) and see if you can't get a cheaper 'student checking' account.

[identity profile] sproutchk.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 09:14 am (UTC)(link)
ahhh that's a thought.... I'll do that when I get an account :)

Blah. So I did a really rough estimate and my refund is lookin more like 1100 or so... ick.

Stupid stupid taxes!! :)

[identity profile] britgeekgrrl.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, quitcherwhining - a grand back is better than nothing!

[identity profile] sproutchk.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 09:19 am (UTC)(link)
Yah I guessss :) :: giggles ::

FEEL BETTER DAMN YOU!!! :: smothes in hugs :: MWAHHAHAHA THE HUGGY MONSTER IS HERE TO ATTACK!!

[identity profile] 27outs.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 12:06 pm (UTC)(link)
H&R block is going to charge you for EACH w-2. It will add up waaaay fast. Seriusly, do Turbotax, It's going to cost you about 300 buxks to use H&R block and walk out there with a check. I tried last year and I only had 2 w-2's....

[identity profile] sproutchk.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 12:07 pm (UTC)(link)
:: Whimperrrr :: But I need the money like noowwwwww...

blahhhhh :(

[identity profile] 27outs.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 12:32 pm (UTC)(link)
decision time, then. you might as well have them review your last years taxes too...

[identity profile] sproutchk.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 12:33 pm (UTC)(link)
how much do they charge per w-2?

[identity profile] 27outs.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 12:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I think, it's about 30 bucks or so, every piece of paper they have to enter info from. It's a scam. But you sound like the kind of desperate they want. If you have no choice, bite the bullet and get your check

[identity profile] sproutchk.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 12:56 pm (UTC)(link)
So it's 30 bucks after the first w-2. And prolly like 50 - 75 to do the first w-2 and the actual work?

[identity profile] 27outs.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 01:00 pm (UTC)(link)
it's more like 75 to 90 to do the first, I think. It's not cheap. And turbotax actually does a better job, but you have to wait for the check...

[identity profile] sproutchk.livejournal.com 2004-03-05 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)
well I'm gonna go home and take a nap.. so we'll see how I feel after I sleep on it for a bit.. thanks for the help ryan :) You rule :) And so does Johanna!

If you're using the 1040EZ, do it yourself. It's way easy.

[identity profile] sproutchk.livejournal.com 2004-03-06 11:28 am (UTC)(link)
I know it's easy I've done my own taxes for the last 4 years. I just wanted my money back faster.
