My betta, Azul, died. :(

I'd had her for over 2 years.

She'd been getting kinda bloaty lately.

Also, I got called Cranky McCrankyPants today and totally deserved it.

But then told the person I should have been called Disappointed McEmoPants.

Yah.

What have I been up to?

School. Duh.

Work. Duh.

I've become a Lacto-Vegetarian (Whoa? Really?!) and doing rather well with it.

I'm doing it for health reasons cuz let's face it. I'm not the healthiest person in the world and I'm hella tired of being a fat ass.

I'm not doing as well in school as I should be so I'm getting ready to start kicking myself in the ass hardcore style.

I'm planning on moving to Emeryville to live with some kids from school in a couple of weeks.

I'll be sharing a room but it'll be in a really nice apartment and it'll be 20 bucks cheaper a month in rent. Plus it's literally across the street from school. So yay for that :) And the first month of rent is free. Yay!

My birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. The 26th! Wow.

I'm planning on doin something the weekend before my birthday. I'll post details as I know them.

My boss invited me to the St. George's open house :) haha :)

In not so happy news.. I found a lump on my rat. I don't know if it's cancer or just an abscess. I don't have the money at the moment to take her to the vet and get it removed so I'm just waiting it out for a little bit until I Get the money.

Other than that. Not much else is going on.

The car. Which apparently god hates me and doesn't ever want me to have money. (HAHAHA Why yes mortal... here is your check. Did you enjoy having that money in your account? TOO F'N BAD!!! NOW I TAKE IT ALLLLL AWAY!!! :: zaps car into not working :: Bitches. )

The car is going to cost $700 to fix plus there was $200 in towing for a grand total of: $900 big ones.

Holy. Mother. Fucking. Son. Of. A. Bitch.

That's like um. 1/4th of my ENTIRE fucking living expense check. On top of the other 1/4th I'll be spending to catch up on rent/bills.

Balls.

Well. At least I'll be getting that money from my dad's account which I'm going to put $1000 in a savings account and the rest of I'm going to live off of while I use my paychecks to replenish my school money.

The problem, it turns out, was my distributer. The part is $400. There's labor. Oh. And this really nice little $120 fee they tack on JUST TO LOOK AT THE CAR IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I need to become a mechanic. Jeebus. I'm in the wrong line of work.

Also, on the plus side.

So I have lots of work going on. I'm required to design a font for class.

ALSO. DOES ANYONE NEED A LOGO? I HAVE TO DESIGN A LOGO FOR SOMEONE. IT CAN BE A FAKE OR REAL BUSINESS I JUST NEED TO MAKE A LOGO FOR A "REAL" CLIENT. PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP IF I CAN MAKE YOU ONE FOR FREEEEEEE!!!!

I'm super depressed about not having a car.

I'm at that.. ok I'm broken down to my core you win kind of feeling.

I have no car,
no phone,
no internet,
no food at home but have money to buy a little.


The plus sides are that I'm getting my student loan check either monday or weds. Which is nice that I don't have to wait FOREVER to get my car dealt with and trying to figure out ways to get to school/work/etc.

Blah.

I just didn't want to use my school check for any of this as I already have enough expenses to deal with.

But alas.

Ok.. so the first run of the logo for the musician is done.

Now.

I know that at my school we're taught to " kill our babies " as it were and to just make whatever the client wants regardless of whether or not we like it.

But I swear to god if I add this one thing to this logo that the client wants it gonna look like stupid trashy shit.

And it's driving me crazy.

Now to compromise I'm making one version with the janky addition of doom and one without.

Soo yah.

Totally frustrated.

And why is it every time I tell a guy I think he's hot I get the mutherfriggin friend speech.

I got offered my first ever, PAID, graphic design gig that isn't a friend/someone I know.

I was at work on Friday and my boss gave me an e-mail from someone who's look for a logo for a musician.

Oh my god!!

I'm making 30 bucks. My job is getting 10 so 40 total.

I'm working on it tomorrow but oh my god! :)

The description of what they want is really specific so I should make this spot on and amazing. :)

And who knows. If she becomes famous, it could be EVERYWHERE!
