Wow.

So I'm staying at my uncle's place today. He's out for the day but he said I could hang here in Pacifica. He has the BEST view ever!

His balcony and all of his windows face the ocean. It's beautiful.

I'm totally jealous of his place, not jealous of his rent amount though.

So I'm sitting here watching mythbusters on the sofa and I hear this rumbling. It seriously sounds like a helicopter landing right outside my uncle's place.

So I look out the window and what do I see?

MOTORCYCLES!! At least 35 or so of them! They're all pulling into the parking lot of the shopping center right under my uncle's apartment.

I wish I had a camera, it's pretty impressive. And as I'm typing this about 15 more just pulled in. It looks like a meetup and I think the group that just pulled in were members of the Oakland Rats.

It's kinda interesting.

I might walk down there and check it out if I can get my lazy butt off the sofa :)

In other news... last night I realized what I said was true.

I'm putting the poor employees of Hot Topic to the test today. :)

I bought this SUPER awesome tube top of awesomeness a couple days ago but of course.. I failed to realize the top comes in XXL instead of the XL I bought which I honestly thought was the largest size. And while it fits and it's fine, I'm a little worried about it shrinking and becoming to short. So yah.

So I went to the HT website and didn't see the top I bought on there. Great. I just called the Pleasanton store and they said they didn't have it but that they'd prolly be able to find it.

I left my name and number with the girl.

Then I called the Daly City store and the guy was super awesome and said that there weren't any locally but that he'd see about getting one shipped in my size to that store. SUH-WEET! :) And, there's another tube top I really want so he's going to try and order that one. And he'll call me back in about 15 minutes :)

So hopefully my shirts will be in in the next few days depending on where they came from.

Sadly, I won't be able to wear it to pride like I had originally hoped but oh well :) It'll be awesome when I finally get them in my size :) Yay :)

And I seriously need to give a shout out to this guy's manager for being so awesome on the phone :)

ETA: Chris from HT just called me about 5 minutes after my first call and said that both shirts are at the same store and are being shipped today. He guessed they'd be in weds. and that they'll call me when they're in.

On myspace, there's so much competition of status and being seen. "Oh my god, I'm not in your top 8!" or " I commented on your page, why didn't you comment on mine!?" or " Why does your status say swinger instead of in a relationship?! " etc.etc.etc.

Whereas in livejournal. It's just, " Oh my god, she wrote what about me? That bitch! *flameflameflame* I'll show her! *deletes comments and defriends*"
