Cool. My friend back home taught me a little. We used to get together and spar all the time -- a whole bunch of us, all from multiple disciplines. We'd teach each other a little bit of each of everybody's discipline, and we'd practice with and against each other to improve ourselves. It was great.

As for your Taiko... you know there's a Taiko group that's part of a Japanese Community Center in Fremont? I forgot what exit it was off of... oh. The one that has the Target, except you go left instead of right coming down the 880. It's back there a mile or two down the road with all the houses.
I think there's also a couple real good ones in the South Bay, but I'm not sure where they are.
