Ugh. How irritating. Really, they had no right to do that. As long as you're not like dealing drugs out of their apartment (lol), they do not have the authority to stick their noses into your financial business. Boo! I think that, for some reason, most people are perfectly nice and all, but when it comes to renting a place, a lot of people go from zero to apeshit in about a second. Sorry you have to put up with that. Ridiculous.
