I am in fact sticking him in the scruff. The tech told me they don't have hardly any nerves there and it doesn't feel any worse than a momma cat picking him up.
Like I said the sticking part doesn't seem to bother him because I do that fast. It's when I turn on the fluids he starts to run....
I dunno. It doesn't help that I'm still really antsy around needles.
I'm not really holding him down. I'm letting him rest on my lap and get cozy and then I'm doing it.
I was warned that cats don't like the sensation of the fluids filling up right under their skin. He just did really well at the vet and I think that maybe it was just cuz he was scared.
And since he's comfortable at home, I think that he's a little more relaxed and feels more.
Loren's going to come over tonight and help me calm down and will keep keroppi calm...
