Supposedly there is something called "vaso vagal syndrome" which is basically a fancy term for some lost part of the unevolved brain taking over and putting your heart to sleep -- your blood pressure drops very quickly and you start feeling queesy/faint. the easiest way to fix this, is to lie back with your head below your heart so you get plenty of oxygen.
