Consumer's side: MOST car companies jack up the price so they can make fake consessions when it comes to the haggling. They know if they don't at least work you down to that actually real point where the price is even. They also know you work off commission and so every X you get them to pay is (.06)X for you, so they figure they're fighting your natural greed.

Now everyone knows they have to button down the hatches and get their mad l33t haggle skillz (yo) on when they go to buy a car or they're getting screwed. Hate to say it because it sucks for Jessica, but car companies brought this on themselves by being such...well...car salesmen about things.
