For the love of...
May. 27th, 2008 07:02 pmToday, a girl in my class got her cellphone taken (with a little bit of necessary force ) away because she was texting.
The first day of class the teacher explained that if she caught anyone texting or using a phone in her class, she'd take it away because it was disrespectful.
Instead of just admitting she was wrong and shaping up, the girl proceeded to argue with the teacher.
And later, they argued in the hallway outside of class during the break where the girl said she was going to drop the class because of the way the teacher treated her.
It warms my heart to know that I'm throwing down 75K to go to high school.
I weep for the future and I have a growing disgust for the youth of america.
