The general state of things...
Nov. 19th, 2007 02:37 pmMy weekend was good. Busy but good.
Friday was bridal shower shopping with the roommate and then hanging out with Wendy and Sierra for late night movie goodness.
Saturday was the bridal shower and that was a lot of fun :)Wendy was my date :) Afterwards, I ran home and drove to San Jose ( gown, heels, and all ) to hang out with Dave.
I changed, and then we headed out for sushi and mini-golfing. The mini-golf game was fierce :) and he learned that I soooo don't play by the rules :) haha :) After golfing we attacked the arcade for much video game-ness. I whooped him in Mariokart and tried my hand at Guitar Freak. I busted some dope ass moves on DDR and then wasted the rest of my tokens on this AWESOME Haunted Mansion ticket game :) I won 556 tickets by the end of it :) I got some little toys in exchange for my tickets. I felt like a total idiot when I found out we were at the Sunnyvale Golfland when the ( almost ) entire time I thought we were at Milpitas Golfland. Do'h.
Sunday, Dave and I had breakfast and then did like the 3 hour walking tour of the ENTIRE Winchester Mystery House. ( which I'd never been to. ) I loved it! That place is awesome :) If I had an unlimited amount of money I would buy that house and live there. It's beautiful :)
I took lots of pictures so I'll update those soon. Also, dave got some pics/video of me playing DDR with his phone and my phone so yah. I'll post those too I Guess :) haha :)
After that, I dropped Dave off and drove up 101 to Daly City. I hung out with my new friend, Jeremy. He's my date to the wedding I'm in so we went and rented him a tux and then went to Red Robin for dinner. Oh my god. They have this chocolate/cherry milkshake. JESUS! It's like crack! :) So that was good :)
Afterwards, we hung out at his place and watched the Incredibles! and I discovered his DS and played some Big Brain Academy on it :) Ok. This is geeky. But seriously. This boy has the SEXIEST computer I've EVER seen. It's a spankin' new Alienware. In black. I want that thing to have my babies. :)
When the movie was over I left and headed to Alameda to do my usual Sunday Bar-night with my Alameda Entourage :) That was good times. My friend, Blake, met up with us and I got home and passed out around 3:30am.
I was told yesterday that the job at Happy Trails is 90% mine. So I'm stoked about that. I guess in order to work there, I have to work on looking more Rockabilly or punk rock or what have you. Which is fine cuz I tend to lean more towards the rockabilly look with my fashion when I have time to doll up anyway.
In other news, I'm getting a tattoo for my birthday! YAY! :) Thanks to my friend, Dave, I'm going to get inked for my bday. :) YAY :) So I need to finalize which of the many designs floating around in my head that I want to go with. So that's Very exciting :) It's been a whopping 7 months since I've gotten a tattoo! GASP! :) haha :)
I'm still lagging on the moving thing. I really need to just buckle down and get that taken care of.
School still continues apace.
Not much else going on.
Just working on myself and working on ridding myself of baggage and issues that I've ignored for a long time.
I've gotta get going but I'll update more soon :)
