Doot doot dee doo...
Sep. 1st, 2005 10:39 amSo like last night was uhm.. interesting to say the least.
I've been deemed housesitter for several people this weekend for various reasons and events. And I started my " duties " last night with the abode of
dicedork and
playapepper. I'd been given the house keys roughly about a week ago to get into the house.
So I showed up ready to play with the kitties and do other tasks when I find there is a slight barrier preventing my entry.
It's called the front door and me not having a key to get into it.
Oh yes, I had keys but for some reason none of them seemed to work on the front door. So after about 30 minutes of swearing that Loren and I will magically unlock the door by jiggling the keys different ways or something we opted to go to the resturant attached to the building and see if someone there can help.
Well, fortunately someone who worked there also lived in the same building and were able to let us in. Also, there was a ring of more keys in the house waiting and yes, one of them does open the front door.
So that was exciting! :)
And in sadder news...
I think that Keroppi's FIP is slowly starting to affect his brain. He's partly due for the course with the disease. First the kidneys then the neuro regions. I say this because he's gotten into this habit recently of sitting on the right of my keyboard while I'm at the computer (which tends to be a lot these days ) and batting at me for attention. Lots of hitting me in the face with his paw and things like that.
Now. I know cats like attention and they're needy creatures. But this is something he's developed recently. He seems almose entranced sometimes too. Like he'll just sit there with his head cocked to one side and look at me.
I dunno.
I could be overanalyzing. I guess we'll just have to wait.
And now for a ( Meme... )
