My update, a rant, and an announcement...

First the update:

Things are going well. It was a hard week. May be losing my job. Will know more later. Got my Lemoney Snickett books in the mail yesterday so that's exciting. The kitties are fine. Keroppi caught Tsunami's ( which is now gone ) cold.

Now, The Rant:

I REALLY REALLY REALLLLLLLY dislike it when a group of people come along and plan something. And then someone comes in right at the moment of reward and wants a piece of the glory. Very much a case of the Hen who made the bread. Or whatever the story's called.

Case in point.

Today, at work. We spent AN HOUR ( cuz we're all indecisive bitches ) deciding what we were gonna get for lunch. So we decided on pizza. We each bought our OWN pizza's. Put forth our OWN money. And planned it ourselves.

So the pizzas come and suddenly all these people want a piece of the action, so to speak. Like one of the finance managers was like " Oh, so and so said I could have a piece. " so I'm like ok that's fine, but take a piece of SO and SO's pizza then cuz we all have our own.

Next, a guy from service comes in and is like.. " Oh, I think there's something wrong with a couple of those slices, maybe I should inspect them. Ha ha. " I was like Uhm. Sorry dood. This was our thing. And then he gets all pissed off. He's like " OH well fine. I see how it is! " And gets all huffy. So one of the other sales guys comes in and is like.. It's cool man, you can have some of mine.

So then the guy who was pissed says, " Oh thanks man, you're really nice for doing that. " In this totally snotty tone of voice.

That kind of shit really bugs me. It wasn't your deal. We don't want to share. We're all broke and had to scrounge and borrow enough as it is to get this for ourselves and you want all the glory in the end? I don't think so.

And finally, The Announcement.

With the exception of hanging out with Sarah sometime in the near future because I've been busy and haven't seen her. I'm going into hiding. Monday at Death Guild will be my last time out in public for a while. Loren will also be there so if anyone wants to see what he looks like or if he exists or whatever, he'll be around.

I'm losing focus on the things in my life that are important. School, work, my personal issues, and my weight. I've started gaining the weight I'd lost back. I'm miserable. And I'm avoiding responsibility by hanging out with my friends. I don't blame you guys. It was my choice.

So after monday, I'll pretty much only be around at school, work, or online. When I've made some visable progress I'll come back out.

I hope you all understand and don't take it personally. This is something I need to do for myself.
