Ug.

The close-minded been a car salesman for far too long ways of a few of my male co-workers is starting to show through.

I don't know if they're sexist or feel the need to just pick on me for whatever reason. But frankly. It's starting to piss me off.

I was top salesman up until today but I should regain title by the end of the week.

I have NO problem closing deals on my own. I clean up after myself. Put cars away that I take out. Make sure everyone is getting their turn with customers. And I'm generally upbeat and optimistic about 99% of the time.

But does that matter? No.

Its when I fuck up in some small way that they feel the need to say shit.

For example.

Today a salesman or whatever the hell you want to call him, Johnathan, ( I say whatever you want to call him because frankly, he doesn't do shit except ass-kiss and is assisant finance guy when the main finance guy isn't there or something. ) came into the sales office while I was working a deal for a customer to bitch me out in front of everyone because I left a car out.

Here's how it works. You take out a car. Test drive it. And yes. If the customers like that car you leave it out so that if they decide to purchase it you don't have to keep taking it out and putting it back in it's spot. ( god. That sounded dirty. )

So I always have the customer move the car out of the way and over to the side of the lot so it's possible for other people to take cars out.

He comes in the Sales Office and is like. " Did you drive that silver CR-V? " and I'm like. Uhm. Yah. He says: " Well you just left there in the middle of the lot. " me: Uhm. No. ACtually I moved it over to the side and put the key back on the board so that if anyone needs to move it they can. ( which I ALWAYS do. It's a way of covering my ass. Everyone has a bad BAD habit of putting keys in their pockets and not back on the key board so when we have to move things, customers are kept waiting for us to hunt down the key. IT's annoying. So I always put my key back. ) So he says: " Well you just left there so no one can get in or out! " So I just rolled my eyes and walked out to move the car. My boss was like. " Don't roll your eyes. " So I responded with. I'm Not stupid. I don't deserve to be talked to like that by anyone.

It wasn't even what he said. It's the fuckin tone he used. It was like. " Stupid child. Look what you did! Now I will humiliate you! "

Whatever. he's a stupid ass.

And the used car sales manager was being a dick on friday.

Ug.

I know I should just ignore it but it really pisses me off.

I just needed to vent.
