My little two cents of the political kind.

So I've got a kitten on my lap that's more interested in what the words look like when I type them than what they actually mean.

Ah, if only it were so simple.

So Bush won by default. I guess at this point this is how I look at it. He's going to be watched very closely. I'll use this analogy.

You work in a company for 4 years. You dick around most of that time... Half-ass your work. Show up late. The whole 9.

One day the boss calls you into their office. Your work is questioned. You're told that if you can change, you'll be given another chance. You promise to change knowing that you're walking on a thin line and that if you fuck up again it's over.

So here we are today.

Kerry bowed out gracefully. And Bush is going to take over again. I talk a lot of shit but since I can't exactly afford to move to Canada right now. I'm willing to accept these things and see how they pan out. He's been given another shot to do the things he should have done in the first place. Maybe he'll prove us all wrong. Maybe he'll be another Clinton or Kennedy.

So it's a new beginning and hopefully the President will finally get off his fat ass and run the fuckin country.

One of the lovely added bonuses of living in Rodeo is this.

Every weds at around 11 or 11:05 am. They test the sirens at the local refinery. That's right boys and girls. Three air raid sirens in succession at 11am.
