So yes :) Busy but fun week... spending a lot of time with loren.. which is good.. :) but then... saturday morning he's leaving for two weeks :( sigh. Oh well...

Actually, we've talked about in via email some more.

The sorta-plan is to go down on the 29th, come back on the 30th or 31st, budget permitting.

we'd have to leave pretty early on the 29th, to avoid Bay Area friday afternoon rush hour (I was thinking of getting on the road at 3) so I don't know if that's viable for you...

If you want to join in, we might want to talk about splitting the cost of a car rental (if I can afford my cut - Alex needs some dental work so there goes our savings) as three people in a bug would suck - although you mentioned your Malibu...?
