Happy New Year n stuff...

awesomesproutSo. This was my day. No cut... sorry. Just gonna write. :)
So I woke up and went online to find out what the deal was with the day's plans.
Spoke to Johanna and made plans for the day for pick up times and such.
I drove to Johanna's and took Willow Pass Rd. exit. I was just about to turn onto her street when I looked in my rearview. woo. a cop with his lights on.
Yes that's right boys and girls. I get to start the new year off with a speeding ticket. Great.
I get my ticket and I finish my dash ( but a little slower paced ) to Johanna's. We decide to go and eat lunch and make our way over to Denny's.
Lunch wasn't bad. Good conversation :) And just sorta chilled. Then we opted to go to the thrift store. I got a brand new pair of awesome blue and white shoes for $4.25! And I also got a pressie for James while I was out that I thought he might enjoy.
So then we decided to kill more time by going to the fabric store. I grabbed an application because they're hiring and let's face it. I'm desperate and a job's a job at this point. We went around the corner to the fish store and I regailed Johanna with all my fishy facts :) It was rather exciting and I've decided that in the near future I'm going to get another Betta. ( Siamese fighting fish) It was around the time for us to meet up with Alex, Dave, and Missy.
We then headed to starbucks where Alex was already waiting. At this point my mood was starting to drop so I wasn't very talkative or social and I pretty much sat there listening and watching. Dave and Missy showed up and we got ready for a game of munchkin.
I got some caffiene in me and I began to open back up and talk a little more. We finished the game and Johanna and Alex went their way and Dave, missy and I went ours.
We all piled into my car and headed over to Martinez to kick it with Missy's friend Will. He seemed really cool and has a corn snake named Jessica which I thought was Hilarious. The name.. not the snake. :) I like lizards myself but snakes are cool in their own way.
We talked about random stuff and bullshitted about life and whatever. It was about 7 something by this point so we went our even more seperate ways again. I headed over to Alameda for Eric's party and they went to their respective homes.
There was little traffic and I made it in no time. I was the first one to arrive since I was an hour early. Ethan and Marie were just getting ready to head out to the store when I got there so we made a little jaunt to Albertson's. Woo man. :)
So I was starving and we got taco bell which took forever and the guy gave me a free soda because he messed up on my order a few times.
We got home and nobody showed up til like 10 something. ( the party started at 9. ) :)
So yes. Did the happy new year thing. Wished James a happy new year via IM. And I wish I'd gotten to kiss him but oh well. I can always do that later. :: smile ::
It's the new year.
I feel different. But I think it will hit me more when I get some sleep.

Plans for Thursday:
Go to SF State with Ethan to drop off Eric at 10am for debate.
Uhm. go back home.
Do assloads of laundry.
Sit around and do nothing and be bored.
get ready and pick up johanna and possibly Ethan.
go to faith and dance.
Friday plans:
Nothing until I go pick up Johanna for Ryan's game.
Game.
Saturday Plans:
Not a damn thing.

Sunday plans:
Alex's game and sitting on my ass.
Blah. I seriously need to find more stuff to do to fill in those slots or I'm gonna go crazy. Sigh. Oh well.... take it as it comes.
