You're a good person, but in a bad situation. Good things rarely happen to good people unless they know how to make them happen. I think you need to re-assess your position in people's lives, think about who you are around and why, and be willing to let things go. It is not necessarily failure to give up if it is hurting you so bad. You are surrounded by friends, you don't need one person ruining your life the way that is has been happening. I hope you find happiness soon, you are too nice of a person to be unhappy.
